When does YOUR mailman come?
I'm just wondering because on my way home tonight, it's just before 6 pm and *completely* dark, and the mail guy is making his rounds in the trailerpark where I live.
That's so not normal, in my opinion. They used to come during the day, like no later than 3 or 4 if they were running late.
What time does your post office usually seem to get people to you? Is this a weird trend or is it just my route? *weirded out by seeing a postman with a lighted hat...*

That avatar, draco. That avatar is hilarious.
And I say it's a postal plot... Pretty soon the mail will be delivered at night when no one is around, with the wee hours bringing us gifts of spam... :/ It was just *so* weird seeing this little blue-white light dancing around someone's porch, and then I realized it WAS the postman... I can see 6 pm *during summer* maybe...
I just hope they're not doing the same thing for businesses. That'd mean late fees and missed bills, I think.

Yeah, our regular woman usually made it through the park no later than 5 or so, really sweet lady. This new guy is pretty clueless, I've actually seen him walking back and forth trying to locate the next address... (They're painted on the fronts, but they *are* in a strange order) But he's been here for 3+ weeks now. So... later and later...

The mailman NEVER comes to my house before 5-6 PM. No matter what. No matter which mailman. I guess we're just last on the route :{

*checks* no mail yet
Of course, here if you don't have mail for them to deliver to you, they don't have to stop by your house. Lovely thing I found out when I was trying to get a certified letter redelivered (And I was home, dangit, I bet they didn't even knock) and they wouldn't pick up the dang slip!

At our office we have a mailman who's really just a huge jerk... I can't remember exactly what happened, but it got so bad my mother called in to the post office to complain about him, and then he just started skipping our office. He would walk right past and not give us our mail. We had to drive to the post office to pick it up. His excuse is that he was "afraid for his safety" to deliver our mail...
riiight... afraid of his safety in an office staffed by 6 women...
Anyway. Eventually my mother complained again, and now he shoves our mail in through our mail slot, making it fly all over the place/get bent/crumpled/etc. If we have a large envelope or package, he folds it and shoves it through too, damned be whatever's inside. It really, really sucks -_-;
