Dragon Exchange Babble Thread?

Post by Naeodin »

I know that we do babble a bit in the monthly exchange threads, but I was wondering about maybe having one dedicated solely to ranting/babbling/etc about the exchange? We have one for the drawing thing, and...

^^

Never mind.

I'm just talking to myself.

BUT

I figured out how to get my scanner to work properly! XD either that, or corel psp likes me better then my old on... :/ dunno what to do when the trial runs out...

...just because I'm proud of myself, must point to Samber's late image in the Nov thread. ^^
And this isn't a bad idea, actually. Though the exchange tracker takes some of that... >>;
*doesn't know*
And yay for your scanner working! *dancedance*

I'm thinking that because astra's first missed date was Knux, that ought to be removed from the list. :)

I agree. There's no point in holding her to finish something for someone that isn't even a part of the group anymore. Although it's really up to Astra as to whether it gets finished at all.

*pokes head in to realize she's being discussed*
but BAHAMUT ... so beautiful ... I could never have done it justice :P I can try and draw something if you want ... my skills improved somewhat over the summer, I suppose. I am really, really sorry for forgetting about this for so long *headdesk* Really I wouldn't have had time to be in the last six or so exchanges anyway *embarassed* But I'd kinda like to do December, since that's Christmas break anyway. Hmm. The The age old question. Draw Bahamut, or actually do something productive? ;)

Well the point being, you don't have to finish anything - it'd be for Knux but he's not here. Basically no one's gonna stop you from coming in December's unless you've got a different piece in waiting for someone else along the way. :)

December sign-ups'll open once November closes, late tonight or earlier tomorrow ^^ Can't open December until we know who's blacklisted, if anyone, from November, after all.

*Weeps bitter tears of sorrow*

MY PEN! My one, my only, me beloved inking pen, the pen that rises above all others, my darling pen- Why have you forsaken me in my hour of need? Why did you roll away, never to be found? MY PEN!

I've lost me pen. All is dark and forboding. My life is nothing without it.

;.; What kind was it?

Maybe try inking via the computer until you can find a new one?

It was a Faber-Castell. I miss it very much.

However, as necessity is the so-called mother of invention, I have descovered that as long as I'm coloring with pencils, my black colored pencil does a rather nice job. And I'm almost done with my image now- I think that I'm going to be on time! Yay!

Oh jeez, that really sucks--about the pen, I mean. ^^; *has a couple F-C pens and loves them to bits* At least they're fairly easy to get ahold of and are cheaper then Microns and Staedler inking pens? <:3

I'm glad the pencil crayon is working for you, at the very least!

Yeah. I'm going to see about getting a couple new ones this weekend. I hope so, at least. It's not quite the same, though, but it gives me an excuse to go to the art store and spend an hour drolling at things I can't afford. And spend more money than I should. I do need a new scetchbook, too- I ran out of pages on my nice one.

Hey, if you have some money saved up, you might as well, right? :3 Oooh, going to get a brush-pen, or just the regular kind?

Not a brush pen. I've got one, but I've found that, while they are fun for drawing stuff that I don't plan to color, they don't really work for inking.

^^; I suppose that for pencil crayons, they wouldn't be very nice. I quite like them for colouring on the computer afterwards, though! Such rich, volumous lines! *happy wibbly eyes* XDD

Arg... I found out that the scanner at home won't connect to my computer, and my dad's laptop just died. (He's deciding to not take it in to fix it for a while so that he can 'beat his internet addiction'. XD) Phe, if this keeps up, I won't be able to get my exchange image in until I get back to the dorms... which won't be until January 5th or 6th. :\ I have it almost finished right /now/, but there's no way for me to get it into the interwebs! Would it be possible to get an extension until I can get 'home' to my compooter? ;_;' I'm so sorry, I didn't think that I'd have to resort to that this month!
