Updating the first page for easy reference...

Since I'm going on a near permanent hiatus, I figure I should announce this:

I'm going, but my pages are staying online, at least until we need more space on the server. Until that time, breeding rights to my dragons are in the hands of Nessie. I've given her full permission to breed my dragons herself or send them out to breed as appropriate, albeit with a few specific restrictions.

Just announcing that so that nobody accuses Nessie of stealing my dragons or anything. They still belong to me, but I'm loaning their genes to Nessie to use as she deems appropriate.

That is all.

^^; The purple image isn't showing up... unless there isn't supposed to be one! I'd like to get one of these guys, but I dunno about being able to put 'em up! :\ In time, perhaps?

Thanks for saying it wasn't working... fixed it now...

All the dragons in the giveaway would have a full set of stats, if not strongly developed personalities (I have a generator for random dragons now, thanks to Shard...

). So if nothing else, the image and the stats would be all that's required for putting them up.

But I wouldn't be in any rush for them to be up immediately... I'd check them around Christmas time or something...

I think so... I'm not quite sure how I'm going to do it yet, actually... but I do intend to keep comprehensive records of my dragon's genealogy. I just need to figure out the best layout for it all... With later clutches, where the ancestors are more than dragons I've made up, I'm going to be more thorough with the information displayed in the pedigrees, where possible...

Nother update already.

Firstly, another bonding from Nest One. Technically on the same day that Venus and Falcner bonded, even though it's actually a whole week later. Time has no meaning to Mirus? Or something?

Since both Venus and Falcner have their images up already, their dragons have grown. They're about... six months old, give or take, so they can (or are learning to) talk now, and are (will be) taking lessons in flight, magic and so on.

Preeety! I really want to send candidates here. Sooo many to work on... So refresh me, the candidates just bond one at a time as they are sent until the clutch is full?

Pretty much, yeah... it's kinda implied that all the Candidates bond on the same day, even if they bond one at a time... And I haven't formally decided just when the 'clutch' will be full, so whenever I feel like closing it will be when it closes. It's more of a litter than a clutch, though, seeing as they're liveborn...

oh - sorry. I need to update Venus. I need to do that when I'm at home though because I'm confusing myself by having files at work and there.

New Nest available. Same proceedure for the last one, really: Candidates and sponsors can turn up as and when they're ready, and they'll... magically have arrived all at the right time, before the babies are three days old...

These ones are the lemur dragons. They come in lemur colours. Because I like them, and I want them to be special, they're ranked the same as a Tertiary Mirus dragon, so candidates need to be of a suitable quality. There's a couple that are ranked higher, because of general species rarity or individual unique-ness. Extra-special Candidates get them.

The sample on the page is a female Blue-Eyed Black Lemur Dragon.

Yep, even though she's all sorta... golden-browny-creamy-sorta-colour. It's only the males that are actually black... It's called 'sexual dichromism' or something.

I think I might colour a few more tomorrow, if I find time...
