Samber!

Would the dragon on the cover of Dragon of a Lost Sea be an accurate depicition of what Shimmer looks like?

SARGON!!!

Post by ExchangeTracker »

Attn: Sargon

A few things, actually, about this character of yours...Bolton...

1. Eye patches? Have an image of that I can referance to?
2. The markings: Feel free to give me the details on the war paint and the tattoo (as the pose may show it).

Thankies![/b]

Sorry! didn't see this! xx;

Eye patches! dark circles under the eyes: http://www.geocities.com/the_endings/az ... heditz.gif
and http://www.angelfire.com/rpg2/rof/Necraan.gif
Basically like funky eyeshadow xD

War paint:
Elongated rectangles up and down neck, spirals (think nightmare before christmas...) On upper right arms. X's on both cheeks and on paws (all of them) Hollow Circles on tail, getting larger and finally becoming bands by the tip. Lightning like marks on upper flanks of back legs, long rectangles down the bottoms of back legs and fronts. Half crescent moon with Star in the middle on middle of chest. Rectangles on bridge of nose, "slash" like markings over both eyes, and on ends of wing-tips. More swirls on lower edges of wings (not the membrane, the actually muscley parts.) :X

hope that helps. i can make a ref if you need it :S

I'm a visual person so a ref sheet would help as I wasn't ecpecting it to be so complicated. :D

*timedly raises a paw* Question... What is required of the exchange...? I'm very new here and wondered what it was and what was needed to complete it, etc.
If this is the right place to ask that of course.
When lost, turn around... You prolly just walked in a circle.

The exchange will open in a couple days, basically we put our names in a hat and pull out who we'll draw - well, Dray does it. :) This particular thread is an anonymous area where people who are stuck on something they can't do or don't understand, can ask a question without announcing who they are to their recipient. :) The other thread will be the 'october exchange' soon to be 'november exchange' and you're more than welcome to enter November's when it comes open!!

Oh that sounds cool. I can't promise I'd be very good at it but I can try anyway right? :)
Thanks for telling me. 8)

Yakima...

Do you mind getting a pre-existing species of dragon? Or do you want something unique? This is in reference to the self-image dragon.

If you think something you already have fits me I'll say that's okay. Otherwise, either or is fine by me. I'm not really sure what I would be as a dragon. So use to using a wolf-version of me it was hard so anything is probably game. I'll be a happy camper either way...

Of course being a dragon would give me the ability to sit on Segs and squish her easier! *evil snerk*

Well I used a breed of dragon for elven characters before, and it pretty much fit the specifics you gave. So I suppose I'll use that...I like them. They're really pretty.

For Xalia, regarding the Self-Exchange.

You suuurrreee you don't want pink? Hahaha, just kidding.

The real question - do you have a preference regarding styles of markings or anything? Like....so you prefer spots or stripes or anything, or connect yourself with an animal in any way?

Horses and dogs are animals I connect myself with...in terms of horses I'm a big fan of horses with tall socks and flashy looks (just take a look at pictures of my AlliBear, she's an excellent example of what I like in a horse). Dogs, well, I have a Jack Russell Terrier so that doesn't really help you because they've got all sorts of different markings!

I'm a fan of points (the whole flashy legs thing, heh), stripes if well done, spots if well done, and love mottling, again if it's well-done. (I've done some really pathetic mottling in my day so I'm kinda picky about it now...)

That help?

For Starfyre:

Hey Starfyre!

Got a question on the you-dragon I drew you. Would you mind if I use it as a dragon species to offer at my dragonry (I'd be removing the handgauntlets and tribal runes etc and making it into a template after, which would be made different enough so that your november-dragon still is, well, yours, and not whoever applies for one later on's too. (ie-different color patterns/colors, no hand-gauntlets/different tribal runes- but the same pose/body)

Asking 'cause I think I have found an interesting concept that I want to offer them as a dragonry species.... Thanks :) It's fine if you say, no, too, since I can modify the species and apply the same concept I had in mind.

First off I'm sorry this question is coming so late, but Rachael, a question about your Self-Image. The link given to me for the facial tattoos doesn't work. Can you repost it or describe what you wanted for that?

Yes, I actually noticed that last night. Well, I uploaded it to photobucket, so now it should be nice and loving...

Or something similar. It's hard to tell, but basically they look like fancy spirals. It's the idea of almost these graceful, sinuous vines curling across the cheek and forhead, and the ear.

I can try to draw something better if it is needed! =)

Yo, Rachael! Remember that tam-fella you requested in August? Still got a link to the hat with the crazy colours? I'm going to try'n have this brute up for you by the end of the night, since I'm sick of being black-listed! :3 If you have a link to some colours (and re-list some of the colours you like... and it was Bob Marley dragonified you wanted, right? >.O It's been so long!) I'd be really, really happy! :D

Thanks tonnes, m'dear!

Heya, Kless?

You know that pantheon of diety dragons you've been collecting? Is there any way that you could put up the links for their images so that we can see what you've gotten already? It'd be a very great help!

Thanks!

They're all located at the bottom of this page:
http://ktkt32003.tripod.com/id76.html

I'm pretty sure everyone is up except for my lastest, Shiolar's god of storms. *Kicks tripod* They keep adding more and more adds. I've working on a geocities site so everyone is probably going to be transfered soon. For now though they're on that page.
