*puuuuuuuuuuuuurrs*

Some info before I begin requesting like crazy...

What is the color spectrum for these guys? I'm gonna actually attempt a balanced wing... at least more balanced than Cy's usual... but I want a nice array of the wondrous colors! ^^

I really like this idea... so many pretty dragons!

efellai · Post by **efellai** » Sun Oct 09, 2005 7:04 pm

*giggles* All right, I'm going to /have/ to change something on Vuk, or give her like a seriously good, seriously pervy memory type thing. It's kinda hard to specialize in mating flight records when you're illiterate....
Unless you wanna draw pictures. O.O

*hee* Many resentful people. Much fun.

*peers* Do Alskyran skins come in cobalt naturally? Or shall I come up with a fiendish reason why they're, well, blue?

Happy Effie--thanks, Shard!

Shard · Post by **Shard** » Sun Oct 09, 2005 7:42 pm

@ ef: no they don't usually, but you might just change it to 'really dark black' - you know how hindi paintings show gods with that blue skin because it's sooooo black? dunno! Up to you! And yeah lol - making little paintings or something. heh.

I have an elf in one of my Otherforest holts that does that, essentially, but then they're not having huge flights and litters...

@ Sherra: the range is:

green/blue; purple/red; cream/brown; slate/copper; bronze/gold; white/silver/black. The typical colors are their pernese genders. Slate can be m/f, copper is male, sometimes red I think has been female, but rarely; w/s/b is either gender. If you skip back to the posts with the images, you can see their relative sizes. There is a big difference between breeds for a couple of them.

efellai · Post by **efellai** » Sun Oct 09, 2005 7:43 pm

*giggles uncontrollably* Yeah, black Smith is definitely a keeper....did you /plan/ that?

And his rider even fits. Hi'ti, all muscle-bulky....

*continues to create her Excel table to make sense of it all, snickering madly*

hksherra · Post by **hksherra** » Sun Oct 09, 2005 8:02 pm

Ok... I'm trying to work out the logistics of my wing... gonna have to wait until I see the last few images until I decide for sure... but until then... ^____^

Could Iiiiiiiii haaaaaave....

2 Alabaster greens
1 Alabaster blue
1 Alabaster purple
1 Blackstone purple
1 Blackstone Black
1 Alabaster silver

^^ Everything else is still in the air... but I just gotta see what your generator churns up for 'em!

Post by **Dray** » Sun Oct 09, 2005 9:35 pm

O_o You guys are making me want to start up some kind of wing-thing! XD I think what's gotten me away from everything is that all of my chars are so spread out, there's nothing to tie anyone together!

...o.O Maybe I should have something branch off of that Ranch of Doom lot.

I dunno, I just want to make a couple of organized groups, now. XDDD

......*thinking* Maybe I can harass Kat and ask if I can make some Nidus-type groups, and then move everyone there. Get someone else working off of Avengaea then Caco' the crazy aven-dragon lady! ;P~!

Shard · Post by **Shard** » Sun Oct 09, 2005 9:38 pm

That's part of why I added the 'how they feel about going' line at the end of em.

And I hadn't actually 'intended' black Smith, but it does work nicely.

Surely a source of cuteness/arrogance if need be.

I'll get on your wing in the morning Sherra

GildedLilly · Post by **GildedLilly** » Sun Oct 09, 2005 9:40 pm

Bah, I'm slooooooowly getting my purdy dragons up, but it's gonna take me forever- I've got a couple, but I'm going to upload them all in one batch and send the links to you then, ok?

Shard · Post by **Shard** » Sun Oct 09, 2005 9:43 pm

Thats' fine, there's the database entry for these, just pick a post and edit to your hearts content. When I'm done sending them out (or a reasonable facimilie of) I'll go over the link pages.

Finally got all my others up. This time of the year is always hetic for me with band and everything. Probably shouldn't ask for this but can I have an Alabaster black? I like the patterning and the contrast with the yellow eye.

Post by **Dray** » Mon Oct 10, 2005 5:10 pm

Shard, will there be a deadline for requesting these, or is it ongoing? ^_^ They're really cool and I'd like to snag a couple or three, but I'm really busy atm!

Shard · Post by **Shard** » Mon Oct 10, 2005 5:28 pm

No deadline! Part of this is to get me to write at least a little up for some of the riders that I've neglected all this time. The parents list will be extensive and fun to check out, I think...

So whenever people are ready for one or more, just ask.

@Kless - I'll get that to you when I get home, it's almost time for me to leave work.

ALABASTER SLATES (can be male or female) and COPPERS (almost always male)
Tell me if I miss a name

If there's no listing on the Slate's gender, consider it MALE.

They're often at least as large as browns, sometimes bigger than bronzes.

They serve multiple purposes in Alskyran wings, and generally speaking fly for the bigger females. When I post the pedigrees for these you'll see some out of rather unusual couples, as they're not 'typical' Alskyran colors that I know of.
