Gail, whoo! XDD JKat came in the room as I was looking over your list and said something along the lines of "She has more Avens then /me/! D'oh!" XDDD It was funny. Anyhow, I may leave off touching Aedelian and your fire/light pair, since I'm looking more for dragons from legit batches. >_>" May leave out the supermutts that Sil made, too (That goes for Phe, too) since... they're already supermutts. XD There's no point in breeding 'em, I think.

No prob, Astra. :3 I'm not planning on doing anything substantial right away, so there ought to be plenty of time to work on school and other things.


What I /am/ planning on is holding a runner-up to the F&F frenzy, only this time, more contained and much more specific. I'd wanted to write up a big In Character summary of what was going on, but then I realized that 1) I didn't have time and 2), no one was probably very interested in it, save maybe for Phe and Gail (who are awesome at sticking to plots. @_@) So... yeah.

What my aim is in gathering names and such, here, is to see just what's /out/ there right now, who's active with their dragons, who'd be interested in participating in a mini frenzy that is otherwise non-time-limited.

In character: Frada Meridia is up to her machinations again, and this time she has two assistants to help her out! Her goals? She's looking for more crossbreeds to join her in the ranks of the Ampilae, and doing so offworld (specifically, on Driolo, where the F&F frenzy was held) seems the best. /There/, at least, no one is nervous about crossbreed dragons--there are fewer social taboos, and Frada plans on using that to her full advantage.

What this means out of character: I'm looking for a few Aven dragons--full bloods and half-bloods preferred, with crossbreeds where they're willing--to hold a mini-flight. It will be out of character, basically, with a quick summary written (much like this!) for the flight.

Hatching will be done as dragons are finished, and will take a while. I'll ask for candidates as dragons are finished, and give them out as they come in. Most all of this will be done over the forums, with a very basic records page kept offsite.

The emphasis will be on everything running at a relaxed speed, no deadlines. If there's no interest, then no dragons will go out--if there is interest, dragons will be rewarded as candi's and sponsor-characters come in. Little waiting on the candidate-owner's part.


How's that sound to folks? Interested? If so, I'll put up a form for people to formally send in their avens. Let me know what you think! ^_^ And keep linking, if you find any extras! I'm splatting together a database to throw up in the Database section of the forums!

It's more of a weeding process, I think, much like the Copper Frenzy and Bipedra flight's audition list. :3 What I plan on doing is taking those who've applied, matching them together based on SUPAHSECRET criteria (aka, those with traits I'm interested in drawing! XD), and holding little clutches as time goes on. There will likely be more dragons per clutch then is the norm for Avengaean dragons, but I plan on pulling that off using some magic.

:D Woot, thanks you guys! X3 To answer your question, Caco', think of it as being loosely in character, in that you can work a plot around it if you want to. It'll be taking place in the same place, the dragonets will end up being housed in Demulcei's school complex, and bonders can come in and ask if any dragonets will have them for bonding, rather then having massive ceremonies to accomodate many people. So... I'll probably be leaving out Frux and Zentiel, just so you don't have to worry about 'em.

Dragon's Personality: Quiet and very depressed, he does not speak often and has a melancholy air about him. He's very withdrawn and not very friendly, he has a tendency to drive others away from him. He's actually quite gentle and kind once you get to know him, though not many people do. He's very thoughtful and intelligent, as well as clever. However, his mind constantly wanders and he has difficulty focusing on what he's doing. He's often restless but spends most of his time drifting aimlessly and directionless.
He used to be a lot more cheerful, before his bond died. He was fiery and outgoing, and very protective of his bond and anyone else he was close to. He used to have a lot of friends, but recently he has withdrawn from them into solitary silence. He was intense and focused, with high ambitions, as well as reckless and impatient. He liked to accompany Anis as a human on occasion, and even now, he still shifts into a human quite often. In fact, the more time passes since Anis' death, the less he shifts back into his dragon form, to where now, he scarcely ever takes on his true dragon form and spends almost all of his time as a human.
