The settlement doesn't have a name, though it is organized a little like a monastery. Even so Takutsupuk is quick to empower his flock to treat it like the only and the best home they'll ever have. It's isolated and it provides plenty of opportunities for his people to work hard and make beautiful, precious items. There's access to water for practice of their martial arts, too, and everyone who has grown up here bears with them a technique passed on by their parents, which they keep alive through daily meditation and practice. Takutsupuk would have that: he leads by example. While he is not a very talented potter, he is a clever overseer and is absolutely spry on his feet with his waterbending.

Though he's old-- many here are-- he was eroded into accepting the opportunity to bond over the course of years and the somewhat limited contact his settlement had with the rest of the Nidus. His people were banished and, seeing sea dragons here, have come to think of them as influential beasts who might help elevate their water bending even further. His parents were against those associations, but Takutsupuk has to admit that the sea dragons he knows are elegant and powerful... and while he wants his people to thrive through healing, not to fall back on the ambitions, corruption, and greed that made their parents outcasts, he can admit that it might be time to forge new connections.

Retlikinth feels pressure to be responsible, mostly from his bond, and he makes use of this by not putting up with any silliness, by thinking very hard about what other dragons living with Takutsupuk's people will need, and speaking up for those needs as best he can. It's hard, though; living with such fragile creatures has shaped his understanding of how humans and dragons can live together, and so he's put himself at a distance with most humans, preferring to interact with Takutsupuk and Takutsupuk alone when he is on land.

Retlikinith spends a lot of time scouting under water near the village, helping to find useful, pearl-growing oysters to bring back for farming, and looking for absolutely the best under-water places for any other dragons who might come along to settle and help make their own.
