Appearance: |
Rei'ron is a strong fellow with a somewhat bulky build, sharp facial features, and glacial blue eyes. His hairline is receding but he still has shoulder-length salt-and-pepper hair, a trimmed mustache and a well-kept beard with more obvious stripes of white against black. His clothing remains mostly Nemistan in origin; he finds the technological origin of some of the Star City immigrants of Nidus Descendi to be quaint and a little bit backwards to knighthood: every article should be world to compliment the bond-rider pair, with the dragon's consideration coming before one's own. To this effect, Rei'ron keeps clips and harness straps on hand even when he's off-duty, usually wrapped in a ceremonial way over one shoulder for easy access. He also wears a thick fur cape, which can be used to shelter against the back-blow of Pryl's icy breath.

Personality: |
Rei'ron is a bold man with battle experience fighting other men and dragons, so his experience was met with gratitude when he arrived at Nidus Descendi. He is a little bit overconfident, but this is tempered by his specialty in battle: ice magic and controlling tactics, which he has proven to use to great effect.
Rei'ron is a true believer in the human-dragon bond as a superior unit to unbonded equivalents, and he is leery of dragons who don't choose a human partner. He is a little less leery of the opposite, though he argues that this is because not everyone has the right talents to match a dragon's raw power. While most people can be trained, there are a few who simply have no magical spark, and he patronizes thoes folks just a little.
To say that he fits in well with the Nidus is maybe doing him too many favours, but he and those around him make their relationships work. He is never outright mean, but some have called him hidebound. He has a special project in attempting to bring out the magical spark in those who weren't raised to seek it out, such as immigrants from Star City who spent their lives relying on the crutch of technology. His success rate has been just enough that a few youths have begun coming to him in hopes of learning if they can unlock hidden powers, but he has yet to take on any dedicated apprentices.
