Nevetus is not a friendly creature, but she chooses to be aloof for the good of those around her. She has a rage streak that she keeps in check largely by disappearing down into the more dangerous parts of the ancient forest Nidus Silva built atop to wage violence on beasts that might otherwise pose the locals trouble.
She tells herself she's doing good work. She hunts, she sometimes kills, and she is extremely careful not to infect the meat she returns home with. But there's a part in Nevetus that she wishes she could let free: to lash out at other sentient life. To get into a real fight, to conquer and ruin.
Luckily, there are those at Nidus Silva who see her urges and her restraint, and she works loosely with them to keep her dueling needs in check. She does not lead a placid life, but very little of her inner turmoil breaches the surface of her thoughts and actions around others.
