Nesene has warm brown skin and thick black hair that curls loosely, chopped at ear length and fluffing out in a sort of bowl-cut. She keeps a kerchief of colourful fabric tucked at her neck, but sometimes wears it over her hair to hold it all back. She is missing both biological legs, one below the knee, and one partways up her thigh, but in their place she has cyborware limbs with some simple nanite modules used to help the legs grow with her. She's had these since she was very young, a little after she learned to walk. Though their quality has changed since she moved to Nidus Descendi, they are her pride and joy, and she keeps them on display by choosing to wear skirts most of the time.
As for her clothing, Nesene prefers bright, summery colours, and is especially fond of yellow and blue.

Nesene is another refugee from Star City space station. When she was young, she and her parents fled the station during its destruction and made way for many others to reach a safe haven. That wound up being Nidus Descendi. She integrated well, benefitting largely from her father's interest in engineering and technological tinkering when it came to her artificial limbs. As far as Nesene is concerned, she's been very lucky and has actively chosen to live a life worth having been saved.
She's a ray of sunshine and she treats her parents well, though since she bonded Loriath she's had a little less time to visit their little prefab home in Prism Falls near the base of the mountain. Instead, she works to ferry people up to the dragonrider-frequented portions of the Nidus and vice versa, and she often offers a little free advice here and there along the way.

Loriath is relentlessly positive, much like her bond, but she's a little more forthcoming with the good vibes. She has a telepathic knack of noticing when people are down, and for those who are in need of help, she is not above wandering over and nudging a warm nose into their chest to thrum at them in a psionic wavelength that mimics a huge cat's purring. She does this to anyone; friends, strangers, enemies-- though she doesn't know the meaning of the latter.
Loriath is by and large a curious girl, and she jives well with Nesene's attitudes on life. |
