Tall and deathly pale, Marcelene looks like the kind of person who likes to cause trouble... and that wouldn't be far from the truth. She has long black hair and dark eyes, and is covered from neck to waist in tattoos garnered over the past decades. These tattoos are eventually subsumed by her body's accelerated healing rate, but she has the most important ones redone from time to time, replacing others as she goes. Usually Marcelene wears clothing that covers all of that ink, partially to hide these hard-earned tales and partially because she is very careful exposing her flesh to anything that might cause it to burn. Marcelene prefers leather and heavy clothing, as it's more likely to protect her from the elements and the attacks of others.

Though Marcelene originally hailed from Arx Infusco, she was the victim of an unfortunate vampire turning incident several years back, newly turned by an enterprising Arx local in order to infiltrate Nidus Novalux. She spent perhaps a few weeks posing as a Novo looking to bond a dragon, but she enjoyed unlife at the Nidus so much that she changed her allegience. She was never particularly beholden to the Arx to begin with, and she enjoys tweaking the noses of superiors everywere enough that she is loyal to nobody. She settled into the Nidus for a few years because everyone was so fresh-faced, unfamiliar with her dark stories, and easily spooked.
| Despite Marcelene's mean and traiterous streaks, she also possesses a loyalty that is buried deep under all of her defensive mechanisms. She has a weird way of showing her friends that she cares, but that's possibly because her life has been changed by the fact that she also views humanoids as a food-source, in addition to a source of social comfort. She eventually grew weary of dodging the spies and assassins sent to hunt her down for her disloyalty, so Marcelene faded into the darkness and traveled for some time in the world of Aleph, and even into the Nexus beyond, until she stumbled into a freezing festival where she met a very young Pagoma. The pair are not a traditional rider-dragon pair. Pagoma treats Marcelene as a subject amongst all subjects, and does her best to ensure that Marcelene is primped and proper, whilst also sourcing her only the finest of food. Marcelene, embarrassed but amicable, travels for Pagoma to do her dispense her justice and to find the finest accoutrements for the icy queen. She isn't interested in Pagoma lording over the rest of the herd, or the rest of the wintery village they've both landed in... but she does like treating the dragoness well. The pair make for a power couple that stands a little apart from the rest of Winterholme... but because they both mean well, they're accepted well enough. | |

| Personality: | Pagoma is vain. She looks good and she knows it, preferring to always have some embellishments on her to frame her beauty with. Since she can't stand the heat, she is a true ice queen, preferring to reside in perpetually frozen places. This made traveling to Winterholme a natural choice. Once there, she quickly integrated with the other reindeer dragons and took a role that was primarily Snow Queen, though royalty is more of a mindset for her than something recognized by the rest of the herd.
Pagoma is not an evil dragoness; she loves her acquaintances and even friends... but she keeps herself at a remove from others and she still has a scheming streak that makes her a little bit troublesome. | ||||
