She has eyes so pale as to be white, and skin a dusky grey. Lysvia wears hardy clothing that's easy to scrub clean, and usually has an apron on hand. There's usually dirt beneath her fingernails, but she insists that only adds to the flavour of her meals.

She also used this time to foster trust with the famously distrustful Dao and their personal servants, though she had no intentions of true loyalty. She trained many daughters (both adopted and biological) over the hundred or so years of her rein of terror in the Kitchens of Hell, and only a small inner circle of those were given the responsibility that she'd fostered secretly her entire time in the noble quarters of the Seven Fold Maze. As a child, she'd been kidnapped with a handful of seeds that she had fostered in the rich earth of her new home. Poisonous plants that grew in the Underdark thrived among the soil of the earth as though feeding on the spirit of the plane itself. She grew these plants under other exotic roughage that had taken to the gardens of the palace grounds, and trained her daughters to harvest and treat the poisonous plants to gain the most value from their nectar and sap.

She put this to use over the years both to best her competitors and, eventually, to aid in a slave-freeing pipeline, to knock out nobles and their servants at the right time to sneak slaves out of the palace, to redirect their ire towards her competitors, and to otherwise gain more traction and control over her own situation. Eventually, as all things happen, she was under threat of apprehension. She abandoned her post and her daughters to take up her mantle and fled with others who had found a new place to settle.

Having come out the other side of an extensive portal network into the tunnels under Nidus Descendi, she's decided to utterly change her life. She's moved above ground, where thieves and slavers can be spotted, and where huge dragons are liable to sound the alarm and swallow any ne'er-do-wells. Though she is ill suited to direct daylight, she has discovered a new life gardening above ground, learning the way of green plants... and, perhaps, training a few of those interested in her dark arts of poisoning in darkest secret.

Iliacath was hatched from a clutch of rambunctious dragonets with ridiculous name theming, and she's eager to get away from the benighted idea that she's the sum of her food association. Perhaps unconsciously influenced by this nonsense, she sought Lysvia out like a throwing knife and found more than she bargained for. She's picked up Lysvia's years of horror-gained wisdom in a heartbeat and is intent never to allow her bond to be hurt again, or herself, for that matter. If she faces danger, it will be because it's her own choice, and not because someone in charged forced either of them into it.
