Egrenara grew up in Cathair Kosavon and traveled to Nidus Descendi after bonding Latanyundeth. She did this not necessarily for herself; she had a sweetheart back at the Cathair that she had been hoping to take somewhere more serious, after all. Rather, she saw the necessity of bringing Latanyundeth with the flight of other Kosavon dragons being shipped out to Descendi at Descendi's request. The Nidus is very different in some ways from the Cathair; it's home to a variety of dragons and humanoids that Egrenara's never seen before, which is taking some getting used to. The driving purpose of the Nidus to keep the nearby Arx at bay, though, that's as familiar as her training in defending against predatory Tabriz-- only more clever by half and more coordinated, to boot.
She sees hers as a life of duty, so in dealing with her, one will usually find her level-headed, reserved, but very focused. She is keen on integrating Danachian dragon skills, techniques, and natural advantages into the patrols of other dragons, and feels a genuine sense of pleasure that her experiences from home are valuable for others whose Danachian-descended dragons might like to learn more of their origins. She's not, in her heart, quite as keen on the hybridization of the fighting forces as some of the other leaders of the Descendi, but again-- she values duty above all else, and sees her bond's clutches as part of that.
