The pair saved up to take trips off the station, which eventually led them to the Nexus. When Star City evacuated due to a barrage of pirates and xenomorphic infestations, Adrienne and Braidie were well ahead of the refugees. They wound up at Nidus Descendi with a few others of their kind, and Adrienne wound up within the ranks of the senior committee by dint of her steady head and propensity not to put up with people who wasted her time or those of the Nidus.

Now, though she isn't a "Queen Rider" in the Pernese sense, she still keeps an eye out for those who look up to her. She struggles a little with her past and the fact that she's responsible for others when she couldn't care for herself as a youth. Sometimes it keeps her up at night.

When the pair finally settled at Nidus Descendi, she was adamant about moving to the top of the heap-- though with memories of living in poverty still so fresh in her mind, Braidie suffers no unpaid drudges or servants, and is outright hostile to those who would suggest falling back on a system that she forsees could be exploited.

This makes her a strong voice for a fair Nidus, and has made her popular amongst the smaller dragons and humans alike. She has a scalding tongue, however, so very few who aren't willing to go toe to toe with her approach her directly.
