Anata is a whispy young woman with tanned skin and pointy limbs that would appear a little more childish than one would expect for her age. She still likes to dress in her old clothing, which she's shot up out of just enough to make her look very gangly, even though she isn't particularly tall. Though she's experimented with ways to look more mature (makeup and padding and all that) she's never found the trick of it, and she's just on the cusp of accepting herself as she is, even if she isn't exactly embracing her status as a 'runt' as some of her peers like to tease her.
Anata has dark brown hair that likes to wave and curl in ways that are hard to contain. Even braiding it leaves little cowlicks falling into her eyes or around her ears. She usually has done with it all by chopping her hair off around her ears and covering it with a hat. Her eyes are a pale green, and large for her face, which is a little gaunt but not emmaciated.

Anata's spent most of her life trying to make friends and falling a beat or two behind others of her age range for one reason or another. It's not that she's scattered or foolish, but rather that she likes to seize onto an idea and run with it long after her friends have moved on to other things. Anata's preoccupations lead to her going her own way, which in turn tends to put her further out-of-step with friends. When she tries to reach out, the backlash of alienation she sometimes feels makes her seek comfort in her old stomping grounds again.
Luckily, Anata's made a lot of friends with the Descendi foster adults, and she loves running errands for them almost as much as she enjoys her own eccentric pastimes. She isn't bothered by hard work, especially if it allows her to daydream.
