"Delphinus"

::Are you... lost?::

Name: None, current appellation "Delphinus"
Age: Somewhere over 30,000 years
Sex: Male
Species: Gravity Wyrm
Size: About 1000' long
Type: Class K
Residence: Nexus Space, Milky Way Galaxy, Sagittarius A* region
Abilities:
Cosmic Entity
Gravity wyrms exist in the vacuum of space and do not need to breathe or eliminate waste, and can feed on any matter or energy captured by their black hole. Gravity has such a negligible effect on them to consider wyrms immune to its pull. As such, they can "levitate" in any environment.
Gravity Well
Gravity wyrms can create an intense gravitational pull centered nearby or on themselves. This ability increases with their age and size, culminating in the implosion that some supermassive wyrms use to birth new black holes upon their death.
Stellar Song
The five senses of a gravity wyrm are intertwined so that they perceive what they call the Stellar Song, observing all things in a far more encompassing manner than ordinary creatures do. They can taste light, hear color, smell sound, see flavors, etc. in addition to their senses working the "normal" way.
Telepathy
The ability to communicate mind-to-mind.
Wyrmhole Travel
Gravity wyrms can traverse vast distances by utilizing the wormholes that connect one black hole to another.
Personality: The wyrm that we shall call "Delphinus" is an ancient beast who has seen the rise and fall of civilizations but, like most of his kind who reach such a great age and size, maintains a quiet and contemplative view of his universe. Although he has reached the stage of his life where he now dwells around the supermassive black hole at the center of his chosen galaxy, he still roams away from his colony for some decades at a time to see how "civilized" life has changed on worlds he knows, or to see if it has arisen on new ones.

The name we shall use on him comes from an altruistic tendency of his that, though not unique to him, is nevertheless distinctive. Out in the vastness of space, Delphinus has a knack for discovering spaceships that have somehow gotten lost or damaged. Like a space-faring dolphin, he takes it upon himself to help these derelict vessels (and their passengers) back to safety. Of course sometimes he gets shot at, since he is a huge and intimidating creature, but he has saved many lives as well.
