Description: Among the race called Dajina, Lathan O-ama is a fine example of ideal masculine beauty. Attractively short and with skin an icy white-blue shade, narrow lavender eyes, and long white hair shifting into violet as it cascades almost to his waist, Lathan is desirable to most of the females of his kind. Two orchid-coloured horns grow erect on his head, curving slightly in a manner akin to the horns of a Terran bull, and it is these horns that mark him as a middle-caste member of Dajina society. A silver cord drapes between his horns, held in place by silver rings, and from this cord hang short strings of beads. He stands on digitigrade, four-toed feet that are lightly furred with white feathering, and bear a fifth toe at the heel. His tail is slim, ending in a pure white tassel.

His clothes are simple, frequently white with richly coloured trim to which he matches his bead-strings. Usually he dons a kilt-like article commonly worn by his race, as well as shirtless sleeves connected by a band of cloth across his chest, and another across his shoulder blades.

Personality: To compare Lathan to an absent-minded professor is to have him practically down pat. Though this young off-worlder is a highly intelligent man of books and history, and possessed of an endlessly cheerful demeanour and yearning for learning, he easily forgets minor things and can overlook all else in the pursuit of knowledge. Being able to learn some new bit of history or, Ru-Urven forbid, to be able to record some happenstance of history as it occurs can work the cheery fellow into a tizzy of frantic exhilaration. He always carries a notebook with him, both to record those important little things he tends to forget, and to always be ready in case some new historical event unfolds before him.
