While she is out Seeking, the only thing Ksathakra looks for are children or adolescents who are truly and validly unhappy with their lives: the neglected and abused. From there she takes matters into her own claws. She Seeks by force more as often as not, swooping in on her Chosen candidate at first opportunity, taking the time to introduce herself and her purpose only if she believes she has time to spare for it. If she thinks it's far more important to get the child away from their situation, she will kidnap first and explain later.

Once she's decided a child needs rescuing, there is no dissuading her. Even if a Chosen child begs and pleads to be taken back home, Ksathakra will not oblige them. She always believes she has done the right thing and can never be persuaded that she was wrong or mistaken in her assessment of a child's situation. Though she is very intelligent she is also quite narrow-minded, never seeing anything but what she wants to see when a child is involved.

Her love of children stems from the fact that she can only reproduce parthenogenetically--she cannot mate with a male (though they exist in her species to mate with the "normal" females who also exist) and instead she can only bear young that are direct clones of her. She believes people who can bear "true" children but do not treasure them are not worthy of them, and so she will whisk the child away to bond a dragon and start a life of their own.

• Subsonic Speech: Ksathakra communicates at a frequency that cannot be audibly heard (also called infrasonic sound). Only species sensitive to low-frequency sounds can "hear" her, though species that communicate in the audible range (like humans) may suffer acute and uncontrollable discomfort or anxiety due to her subsonic frequencies playing havoc on their inner ear.
• Superior Intelligence: Ksathakra is vastly more intelligent than most sentients. Her mind works as fast and accurately as a computer.
• Superior Vision: Ksathakra can see in detail for several miles, as well as focus up close on miniscule objects.

• Telepathy: Grants the ability to speak mind-to-mind with any other creature.
• Teleportation (Advanced): Grants the ability to teleport anywhere within sight or that can be strongly visualized in the mind. Bypasses weak magical wardings.
• Tracking (Advanced): Grants the ability to track creatures without physical signs (e.g. footprints, scent trail).
