| Description: | Kednati is a strange little creature, comparable to a spidertaur but with a spiderlike top rather than a humanlike one. Her lower half is as spidery as one would expect, with a bulbous abdomen and eight long legs attached to her thorax. In place of a spider's head, she has a humanoid torso, with arms that end in claw-fingered hands, and a head that is anything but human. Her head is very round with a mouth and large red eyes in the places once would expect, but her mouth has tiny fang-like mandibles and her total eye-count is eight--four are set in a rather square formation on her forehead, while the other two are on either side of her head and rather high up. Finally she has three sets of pedipalp-like structures: a pair coming off her cheeks, and four atop her head rather like antennae, with one pair short and the other very long. |

Kednati is a very active whorling who's more than a little eccentric. Though she has life magic enough to be worthy of the title lab-witch, technology is her first love so she much prefers working with magitech machines to pure spells and rituals. She is never still if she doesn't have to be (such as to pour of a specific measure of a chemical, for example), and even if standing in one place her pedipalps twitch at the air and her legs tap at the ground beneath her. She has a very powerful emotional presence for such a small creature, and never lets anyone intimidate her or boss her around. Dritanys might run the ship, but Kednati is queen of the labs whenever the tycharis isn't around and has no qualms about making her opinions known and heard! She talks as quickly as she moves and is very proud of herself. Kednati is also a perfectionist who insists on everything being flawlessly in order. Her ideas of perfection, however, change almost daily. One week's masterpiece could be next year's utter failure, and she is always working on her own projects in search of the "perfect" being. |
