Jhanzis is controlled, perceptive, and deliberately opaque. He speaks well and at length if needed, but rarely shares anything of real substance unless it serves a purpose. He reads people quickly and adjusts his approach to guide conversations and decisions without being obvious about it. He prefers influence over force and sees most situations as systems that can be steered with the right pressure in the right place. His morality is flexible: outcomes matter more to him than methods, and he is comfortable working toward either "good" or "bad" ends if he believes the result is justified. He values control above all else -- of himself, of others, and of the situation -- and becomes uneasy when he cannot maintain it.

With Krulothua, Jhanzis is more straightforward than he is with anyone else. He does not try to manipulate her in the same way he does others, partly because it is ineffective and partly because he respects her awareness. He often takes on a strategic role, shaping situations before they escalate, while relying on her to act when a clear resolution is needed. She challenges his tendency to over-manage and forces him to accept that not everything needs micromanaging. In turn, he expands her perspective, offering options and alternatives she might not consider on her own.
