Eridanos is one of the lab-mages that specializes in rituals relating to souls. He is a withdrawn and cold individual, incredibly intelligent but equally detached from the living world. His duties fall in the range of dealing with things that die on the ship, to calling things back from death, to wrenching into our world the souls of things that haven't even been born yet. Eridanos can get very involved in his work and will do everything he can to succeed, but at the same time doesn't really care if he fails. He simply cannot be disappointed.
