As one of the Fate's Guardians who is dedicated to protecting the Egg Caverns whenever they are occupied, Chubi is one of the most matronly creatures aboard the ship. Her protectiveness of any eggs in her care is not the tenderness of a loving mother, however, but the righteous fury of a tigress who will fight to the death to defend her cubs. She eyes all visitors to the Fate with a wary and mistrustful eye, and it is well known that it takes her several years to come to trust any new employee or recruit.
