Description: |
Chiaki is a towering, insectoid creature, though there is no specific species that they parallel. Their build is mostly humanoid, though their limbs are long, their legs double-jointed, and they possess two sets of arms and a long, whiplike tail. They have a wedge-shaped head with powerful mandibles, large flame-colored eyes, and thin jointed antennae equal in length to their arms. Their carapace is all over red and black in no particular pattern, though the areas of color are clearly delineated and symmetrical. |
Personality: |
Chiaki's largest motivation in life is thus: experimentation and learning. Perhaps this could identify them as a mad scientist of a kind, as they have few moral compunctions in their pursuits, but they are not so mad as to be unpredictable. They look out for themselves and their bonded Hekalili'kha first and most of all, and consequences that may rise from their actions are generally judged only by how they two will be affected. They are incredibly curious about the many species of the Nexus and the potential to be found in the crossing of genetics, but have no loyalty to the Fate other than as a fascinating place to work and excel. Though cruel enough to steal genetic samples, manipulate the results, and view the resulting creatures as scientific projects, they disdain unnecessary suffering. They find it crude and pointless, rather than having any particular sympathies for the one being hurt. They are a being of their word until given reason to break it, an not unpleasant to be around if one doesn't mind a quieter companion who would rather talk shop and business than address any more personal subjects. |
Biography: |
Unusual though it is for a creature that is neither tycharan nor female to rise to a form of power aboard the Fate, Chiaki has achieved this with ease. |
