Jewelwing Magic

All jewelwing creatures are incredibly powerful in their magic, and even the weakest of them is a match for ANY human wizard. There seems to be no limit to what their magic can do, though it is rarely used maliciously.

When he was a grub, Gust wasn't interested in much outside of eating, but had just enough attention span to figure out the best way to get treats out of Asafehzashe -- she just couldn't resist spoiling him with a fresh bit of fruit whenever he rolled over onto his back and wiggled his feathery antennae at her!

Now, as a gorgeously-plumed adult, Palorian is far less treat-greedy but he still knows the best ways to make Asafehzashe melt. He is lighthearted and playful, and from the frivolous ways he uses his magic, you'd never know he is the match of any human mage ever born! He likes using his magic to entertain Asafehzashe and her friends. Laughter, the jewelwings say, is as essential to a living being as air.
