Interacting with Derioth frequently brings to mind interacting with the kinds of people that end up starring as the villains in novels or movies, namely the kind that have that slightly-dangerous but also somehow-irresistible allure about them. He is charming but also quietly arrogant, polite yet also perfectly capable of verbal jabs both veiled and straightforward alike. That being said, as easy as it would be to pin him as evil as a result, it's hard to say that's absolutely true. After all, he wouldn't have been permitted to remain on the Destiny in the past were that true, right? In fact, his demeanor isn't all that different from Schroeder himself, perhaps if one were to swap the doctor around so that he was more a proponent of vices than virtues.

Of course, to those that don't have such a 'fourth wall awareness' of personality stereotypes, or those who just aren't inclined to judge by stereotypes at all, Derioth may only communicate the charismatic parts of his personality. Confidence is attractive to many people and that's a quality he has in spades.
