Aptronym's skills lie completely within the realm of fire. She can create it, manipulate it, and even douse it, but this latter isn't particularly fun and more of a recognized necessity... at times. In another fashion she is a demolitionist, able to compact her power to such an extent that the results are literally explosive. These moments are her favorites.

Although she very much delights in making things go "boom", Aptronym has an incredibly strong protective streak -- or perhaps it's more accurate to say that the latter trait is because of the former? After all, nothing quite eliminates a threat to those things that one holds dear than turning it into nothing more than a carbon smudge on the ground. She's a troublemaker with a keen mischievous streak, but she absolutely means well, even if she'll no doubt be the one to get them all in some form of trouble sooner or later.

Her strongest goal is to protect Xiao Shy and Apoleoth's court. Send her into battle and she will come out beaming, a personal trophy in one hand and the head of the enemy leader in another. She is not the most diplomatic, for although she knows precisely when to keep quiet, having this knowledge doesn't mean she will actually use it...)
