Radiation Powers

Maricuri's superhero powers are radiation-themed in forms both offensive and defensive. She exerts control over a strange green energy that can both shield herself and allies, weaken and strip the defenses from foes, and be fired in a powerful blast that leaves enemies reeling with nausea.

The ability to fly without the need of wings.

When one doesn't know what they are, how can they know their true potential...?

Maricuri, as she is currently known, is completely unaware of her true nature. She was raised from infancy by her father, growing into a fine young superhero from Paragon City, knowing nothing of her mother except that she had been a draconic humanoid who called herself "Verdant" and an extremely brief acquaintance of her father.

Said father, a superhero called the Emerald Dynamo, raised her with nothing but adoration and admiration and his many superhero friends helped train her as well, but something always seemed... missing. No matter whether she was taking down local hooligans or thrashing supervillains out on the Rogue Isles, regardless of her success and achievements, she was left feeling that her potential was -- somehow -- even greater than this. Eventually this inner discontent grew to such turmoil that she had to leave. She doesn't know where to start looking, but there's a "something" out there that she feels she has to find before she'll feel comfortable returning to Paragon City and her superhero life as Radiant Poison.

Everything about Maricuri is quick and wickedly sharp, from her mind and wit to her claws and bladed tail. She can be charismatic when necessity requires it, but rather prefers not to have to deal with people by means other than straightforwardly. She attacks problems directly and is frustrated by convolutions, which is no small part of why she's so bothered by her current aimlessness. How can she set things to right when she doesn't even know what's wrong?
