Catastrophic Powers

The godspirit is the essence of catastrophe and destruction, wreaking these things wherever she chooses. In addition, the her presence causes sickening feelings of impending doom. The older and stronger she grows, the more intense the aura.

Corruption Powers

Mastery over the corruption of anything around her, from flesh, to metal, to magical energies.

Darkness Powers

The ability to summon or become shadows and darkness.

Essence Reproduction

The ability to shape her essence into gametes, fertilize them with cells from another (often unsuspecting) dragon, and transport them into the body of another female dragon for incubation. These children are always daughters and cannot be aborted due to their own immortality.

Immortality

Possession of eternal life. The godspirit cannot be killed by any means, though it can be restrained by a being of equal divinity.

Possession

The ability to transport oneself into another's body, controlling and corrupting them from within.

Shifting

The ability to shapeshift and sizeshift into any desired form.

Soul-Corruption Powers

The ability to warp the souls of others, corrupting them at will. The moral can be made immoral in mere seconds.

Teleportation

The ability to teleport anywhere within sight or that can be strongly visualized in the mind.

Verbal Speech

The ability to communicate in spoken words.

There's really no reason for Diaphthora to accept being submissive to Anathema, considering the young godspirit is a class of diety quite above that of the balefire goddess. Nevertheless, she is quite satisfied with her status as "honorary balespawn". She has a place of prestige and wealth in Anathema's lands, is diligently waited upon by the goddess's servants, and didn't have to lift a single claw for it. After she's grown, if she ever reaches the point where she'd rather discard the "alliance" and rule undisputedly... well, that would be no challenge at all.

She is a great lover of luxuries, and her general demeanor calls to mind the classic femme fatale in many regards. There's a smooth charm to her speech even when she's spitting insults or hurling harsh truths, but more often than not she's surprisingly amiable in interactions. Her life is cozy, comfortable, and she's not particularly pressed to make enemies and thereby cause herself a nuisance, however fleeting they might be in comparison to the power of Catastrophe.
