Extended Lifespan

Zeddian live approximately 200 years. They are considered mature adults at age 24 and by about 180 are elderly.

Gaseous Particle Control

A curious ability that allows Zyhr to control anything currently in a gaseous state of matter. This includes cooling and/or condensing a gas back to the point in which it will turn to a liquid state, but he cannot control it past this point nor return it to a gas state on his own. In his line of work, he mostly uses this to aid those having difficulty breathing for various reasons.

Healing Ability

Not magic, but the innate ability to heal physical injuries and maladies. He's not an immediate cure-all, though. The common cold is a simple thing to escalate into healing within a day, for example, but more dangerous illnesses take more effort to affect. The same can be said of wounds of various degrees.

Perception Ability

An unusually keen ability to spot, hear, or otherwise detect the presence of something. In his case, he is extremely attuned to signs of illness and minor fluctuations in symptoms. He's a reliable source of "second opinions" if someone doesn't quite trust a first one received elsewhere.

There was a time in his life that Zyhr was neglectful of the people around him, shunning his own kind in favor of focusing on nature and the animals that inhabited it, finding them to be far more palatable company. When disaster struck the town he was only marginally a part of, however, he discovered immense guilt and regret in his actions -- or rather, his lack thereof. He was not to blame that so many people had been hurt in the first place, but nearly a hundred people died due to a lack of his attentiveness and empathy.

His new vow: for the death of every person he could not prevent, he must save a hundred more. 10,000 lives, no less, but certainly more. He keeps very detailed records, and repeat customers do not count. He has come to consider the Alveary as a home base due to its resilience as a Nexus-connected location and always returned when summoned for need of him, but is continually venturing out with his Meduth to find those who need the healing help he can offer.
