Vayka simply cannot go anywhere without being tailed by his little pet Rdalia. As is the norm for her species, she is an extroverted and affectionate little beast and never, ever lets Vayka out of her sight. And if it so happens that he manages to "escape" her--such as wandering off while she's taking a nap--she will bolt around the Ranch in an eighteen-legged frenzy until she finds him again and clambers up onto his lengthy back to be carried around for the next hour or so.
Her affection also extends to some of the other DOOMers, albeit to a lesser extent. As long as they're in Vayka's vicinity, she's happy to beg back- and belly-rubs out of the other inhabitants--and as long as she is, giving her a rub can keep people occupied for quite a while!
