Phoenix doesn't know exactly why she named the rukel "Ripley", aside from the fact that it just "felt right". Ripley is bold, fearless, defiant in the face of authority, and will go to any lengths to defend what she thinks needs defending. It doesn't matter that she's only the size of a firelizard--she will find a way to do what needs to be done! She is incredibly intelligent and quick-thinking, and can mastermind a solution to any problem given time enough to do it, and the time she takes to solve a problem is frequently far less time than it would take someone else.
