Description: Rek is like any other Tlahsn -- an otherworldly race incomparable to any Earth creature. She is lithe in build and long of limb, but iron-muscled for her slender frame. Walking upright on digitigrade feet, Rek possesses two sets of arms -- the upper set is five-fingered, of human proportions, while the pair beneath it are two-thirds the size of the first and possess only four fingers. Her head is round, set upon a long neck, and fairly resembling a human face albeit for the presence of a short, rounded muzzle in place of a nose. Her eyes are large, white-on-black, and slender, fleshy antennae grow from the inner edges of her mobile eyebrow-ridges. Her ears are narrow and pointed, somewhat like a cat's. She also has a long, somewhat lizard-like, and utterly useless tail. An unsightly scar mars the top of her muzzle, and she dresses in the tight, form-fitting outfits preferred by her race for freedom of movement. Most often Rek dresses in darker colours, regardless of whether it clashes with her skin tone or not.
Personality: One does not get to be a good mercenary by being honey-tongued and gentle, nor does a short fuse and rowdy nature make for one that employers like to have in their service. Perhaps not the best mercenary out there, but certainly a good one, Rek finds a middle ground in being of the actions-speak-louder-than-words variety. She is capable of both the aforementioned gentleness and ferocity when such a manner is needed, but as herself she is a stolid character, standing back on the sidelines and observing, offering her own input or actions only when she feels it is worthwhile to do so. As a result, she often comes across as having an attitude, when in truth she is simply efficient, and always out to get the job done right, no matter what 'doing it right' entails.
