Being the only drone in Naletrothoss's hive has done strange things to Namatiss's ego. Though he is still a loyal servant and properly abases himself before his queen, to the assorted warriors, rankless xenos, and those who are not of the hive, Namatiss is snobbish and condescending even when he has no right to be--and he has the kind of sharp wit and cruel tongue that can make nearly anyone feel they really are his lesser (or at the least he can fluster them so completely that they can't compose themselves to prove otherwise). Nevertheless, his barbed exterior contains, if not a heart of gold, at least one that is still the kind to always do the right thing in the end, even if his manner of getting there is outwardly disagreeable.
