Amphibious

All Nymphs are able to survive both underwater and on land. They are less comfortable the drier their climate, but they do not need water to survive any more than regular humans do.

Clarion is bright, curious, and full of wonder -- grown, and yet still not quite sure how anything works. His name comes from his voice, which is disarmingly pure and full of emotion, no matter whether he's singing lullabies, love songs, or just trying to remember "head, shoulders, knees, and toes". Clarion approaches the world like it's an open songbook and he wants to learn every verse: touching things he probably shouldn't, asking questions at the worst possible moments, and generally blundering into beauty (or danger) with the same innocent enthusiasm.

Behind those wide eyes and gentle tones is a startling core of raw protectiveness. Hurt someone he loves and the sweetness drops like a curtain, replaced by a startling intensity and surprising physical strength. It's not calculated rage, but pure instinct. Clarion doesn't want to hurt anyone, but he will, if they cross the line. Then, once the danger's passed, he's back to sheepish apologies and worrying over injuries -- even if they were deserved. He's not built for war, but for care, which makes him someone you absolutely want in your corner.
