When the Alveary was known as the Ranch of DOOM and was just a conglomerate of sponsorships collected by Phoenix and Dracothrope, they managed to get by on luck and charisma when it came to interacting with the Nexus and more organized settlements at large. Now they're bigger, more established, and Phe has taken her own "half" of things to a place where they can be a fully-functioning community.
That's where people like Adjel'Khumah come in, now, with his silver tongue and genteel air. Phoenix is quite convinced he could talk sworn enemies into being best friends if he really put himself to it. Exaggeration or otherwise, the Tavrayn does have a way with words and communicating on an individual level, adjusting the way he speaks depending on who he's speaking to. What good is it if he can't make a point be made, after all?
Adjel'Khumah deeply enjoys his ability with words, recognizing his skill without being arrogant of it. He is, however, quite ambitious, and is determined to bolster the Alveary's standing in Nexus-wide gossip and communication, hopefully to encourage further immigration and cooperation.
