The ability to create spiders that spring to life with a snap of ozone and disappear with an electric shock.

Narcotic Magic

The hybrid can pull strands of magic from its tail pumpkin and vines for ingestion, causing fear and paranoia in the user. It has a stronger effect on creatures other than the hybrid itself.

Though it wouldn't be surprising for someone to look at Veldth and expect him to be a sneaky, skittering sort of creature, the hybrid is anything but. Humble but at the same time very honest and unafraid of speaking his mind, Veldth is the quintessential wide-eyed innocent, a child of incredibly pure heart. He's hardly old enough to really know what "love" is, but with an extended family of his parents and their bonds and his own bond around him, he has a fairy tale kind of perception of the concept and is smitten with it in his childlike way. He'll be able to grow up and find a partner and have lots of kids of his own the exact same way, right?

On top of all this, Veldth loves to sing. How he manages such sounds with his spiderlike mouth is something of a mystery, but there's hardly a song that can come on the radio without him doing his best to sing along -- but if he's left to his own devices and there's no external source of music about, he'll happily do his best to sing his favorite songs from his favorite movies. They're all children's musicals, after all.
