He is constantly attempting to throw himself outside his zone of comfort (which is how he got to be employed on the security team in the first place), though so far the only thing he makes of himself is a nervous wreck, by the time he's back where he feels safe and can collapse. In truth, Toryn is as courageous as he wants to be and simply doesn't realize it. The youth mistakes fearlessness for bravery and so rarely gives himself credit for what he's accomplished despite his fear. |
