Fey dragons were specially designed to be able to detect all things related to Shy, serving as watchdogs for the man and his Projects alike. Should such a potential threat be determined, they will swarm near the target, keeping it well under survelliance. They will not attack unless provoked or summoned by their sentinel.

Make no mistake: Schroeder may have named him, but Hooke is still far more wild than domesticated. That being said, as the sentinel of the hive of roughly 30 fey dragons introduced and adapted to the rooms and corridors of the Destiny, he has been acclimated to the comings and goings of its populace. Doctor Schroeder himself was, naturally, the person Hooke was trained to recognize and 'report to', but he is in no way the man's pet or even companion. Whenever Hooke is found to be perched upon Schroeder's shoulder, it is entirely because the little fey himself has chosen to alight there for the time being.
