| Description: | Niyz is a small woman, but only in terms of height. In bulk, she's overweight and has a filled-out frame, but nevertheless has a significant amount of muscle under that padding and is very strong. Her skin is light, but warmly tinted with pinks, going well with her strawberry blonde hair. She keeps her wavy locks cut short to keep it out of her face. Her small eyes are strikingly pale teal, icy in color. Many people find her attractive, both despite and because of her full build, and given her self-confidence with her body, some are even downright jealous. She dresses in clothes that are loose, but not baggy, and loves bold, warm colors. |
| Personality: | Though she is not a very educated or cultured person, Niyz still remains likeable. She is a hard worker who never loses focus and is thoroughly confident in herself and her abilities, though she rarely comes across as arrogant. She and Baalroonth worked as heavy-lifters before their transfer, so she has a blue-collar personality both humble and proud, determined to the end. Niyz is not particularly charismatic or cheerful, but she is almost never rude and her earnestness tends to make people like her. Niyz has a selfish streak in her, however, that comes from being one of the youngest children of a large family. Her mother didn't take a permanent partner until after Niyz's birth, so Niyz had three older siblings related only through said mother, and two younger siblings sired by her stepfather. Unfortunately, all six children developed hoarding tendencies as the "legitimate" pair were spoiled, though the elder four were never mistreated. Even after being Searched, taken away, and later bonding, Niyz never learned to share willingly, and as such only shares her personal possessions when she absolutely has to. Niyz always wanted to be a dragonrider like her father -- a bronzerider, K'rec, that she knew only in passing, and who only ever gave her a single gift of a short knife -- with a yearning that was qualifiedly an obsession, and being chosen to be sent off-world as was a flattering honor. Though she finds the Destiny more than a little strange, she has no desire to go home. |
