Dtande is very lean as far as his species go. Being as restless as he is means he's forever on the move, which burns off most of the calories from the things he consumes. He remains well muscled and strong enough to overpower most humans, but his build is more than of an acrobat than a weightlifter. His rich brown hide is mottled with darker brown and the fleshy dreadlocks rimming his skull fall past his shoulders. The Blood Mark upon his forehead is a shape made from two strokes that resembles a 'T' -- the same mark borne by the older Rhakarndi, who hails from the same Clan as he once did.

Dtande is what his kind call ch'hkt-a. When most people encounter a yautja (provided they're not being hunted by the being) they are presented with a creature that is rather stalwart and serious. Dtande, on the other hand, still has the vitality and verve of a child and isn't ashamed to show it. Ch'hkt-a means "hyperactive" and while Dtande doesn't bounce off the walls as the hyperactive individuals in some other races are prone to do, he is quick to become restless and has somewhat of an accidental tendency to become destructive when he is bored.

Nevertheless, he is as capable a hunter as any other. He was the leader of his pack when he still hunted with other yautja, being strong and assertive despite his restlessness, and nowadays is perfectly content ordering around his new "pack" among the Destiny's security crew. He burns off most of his energy in dueling with others, be it a friendly spar with another veteran or in measured training of a new recruit.
