Dire is definitely a creature born into the wrong body. Though by some people's unusual standards she is adorably cute in her stunted stubbiness, she is about as foul-tempered as they come. Anyone trying to call her cute or otherwise comment on her... unusual physique will find themselves with a two-foot-tall ball of angry teeth latched to their foot or paw, for despite her roly-poly look, Dire is somehow able to move incredibly fast when she needs to -- and generally when no one is looking. Fantredala found her, somehow or another, and the daemonling seems to take a cruel pleasure in knowing she could change Dire into a less "offensive" form and refusing to do so. Dire has attempted to turn her vicious teeth on Fantre for this insult, but fortunately for Fantre, the half-daemon is even quicker and more elusive than Dire herself.
