The glowing portions of a meritan's lower body can shift to become male, female, or hermaphroditic.

Magical Manipulation of Organic Matter

The ability to manipulate organic matter in a magical manner, influencing it as they will.

Shapeshifting (Anthro)

The ability to shapeshift into an anthropomorphic version of oneself. Cixri'n'tahn's wings become arms.

Telekinesis

The ability to move things with the mind.

Telepathy

The ability to communicate mind-to-mind.

Verbal Speech

The ability to communicate in spoken words.

Though their magical aptitudes for altering organic matter make them a useful creature to have in the labs, Cixri'n'tahn has to be carefully supervised. Though they are bright and friendly, easily making themselves at home aboard the Destiny and collecting friends, they are easily distracted and well on the forgetful side. This should not be taken as a lack of intelligence, however, as they are perfectly capable at their work and quite useful in the labs, just as long as they can be kept on task. The danger isn't them losing their focus once they're in the middle of something, it's simply their propensity to absent-mindedly walk away before seriously getting started.

They are also very much a flirt around other draconic creatures, in part considering their ability to accommodate any mate they could possibly wish, but they get far more fun from playing the game of it than in actually seeing it through.
