The ability to control another by force of will. Can be shaken off by stronger-willed individuals.

The ability to render oneself unable to be seen.

Telepathy

The ability to communicate mind-to-mind.

Teleportation

The ability to teleport anywhere within sight or that can be strongly visualized in the mind.

Verbal Speech

The ability to communicate in spoken words.

Akihel is an absolute scamp of a catdragon, and no one has any idea how he managed to get aboard the ship -- even Dr. Schroeder's clairvoyance fails in that regard. It's no secret as to where Akihel came from, as he freely provided that bit of information, but as to his actual arrival on the Abstract Destiny? That fact remains a mystery.

That sort of secrecy is rather standard as to what Akihel is like. He loves to do things, to get into things, to leave his mark wherever he goes, but get out and away before anyone discovers him at "work". He's always around to take credit for his doings afterwards, though! Akihel seems to have a preternatural ability to sneak around people when their backs are turned. While he can be incredibly aggravating, however, he never does anything of lasting damage. He may, for example, raid one of the lounges and scatter a giant stack of research notes that somebody left untended for a moment, causing the aide no end of grief when they have to gather and reorder everything, but none will be torn or missing.
