Personality: Haitha is the sort of fellow who's likely to be dubbed "cool" by his peers. Like his mother, Haitha doesn't get ruffled by much, if anything. He, however, has a confidence and savoir-faire that gives him the charisma Manache doesn't possess. He loves to be admired, but shouldn't be taken as entirely shallow. After all, he doesn't try to curry the attention, it's just a side-effect of the way he naturally is.

The Jungle firstborn was a purple-spotted green, sprawling lazily in the moss in the time before all her eggbound clutchmates started hatching. Then, once she finally hoisted herself to her paws, the lazy pace she set towards the candidates left her one of the last to actually make her choice. Luckily, though, nobody else chose Darianth before Joetha could get to the dragon and flop at his paws.

Personality: Joetha is a lackadaisical beast, all too often found sprawled lazily in a patch of sunlight with her head in the clouds. She has no ambition and is happy just living in the moment, watching the world go by around her when she's not daydreaming. She's certainly a pleasant sort if you like having a friend to lazily while away the hours with, but you'll have to look elsewhere if you want someone to romp and play with you.

Dr. Schroeder stepped away from merely watching the hatching to actually lending a hand when one lime-green kit finally got his nose out of his shell. Schroeder helped the dog-sized creature to his uncoordinated feet, brushing bits of moss and eggshell off the kitten's sticky coat.

"Ready to make a friend, Maleche?" the doctor asked.

"May freen!" Maleche beamed, bright-eyed. His thoughts stumbled a bit but then agreed, ::Make friend! My friend! Maleche-friend! Who friend?::

With one hand Schroeder pointed at one candidate in particular, gently turning Maleche's head the same way to see. "His name is Gayther. I think you'll like him."

"Ike!" laughed the kitten, bouncing off towards the Goprin. ::Gayther-friend! See! See! Maleche-friend!::

Hearing the call, Gayther turned in surprise--and a good thing, too, for Maleche had been about to run to Naoryn by mistake, but Gayther's movement distracted and drew the kitten back to the proper target.

"Maleche?" he blinked, looking down at the Garyki. "You want to go with me?"

::Make friend!:: Maleche repeated, understanding little more than that.

Personality: Maleche is very much his Goprin-mother's child, but rather than have Liatha's airheadedness, Maleche is hardly headed at all. Whatever he's doing, he moves with the hesitance and uncertain expression of someone who isn't sure what he's doing and feels overwhelmed by the world around him--which is exactly the case. He will forever need looking after given that he can't even do simple things entirely on his own--if he even realizes it needs doing. He can probably put his shoes on by himself, for example, but won't grasp that he needs to tie the laces. Still, he in endearing in his daftness, beautiful in his uninhibited love for those who look after him and help him through the world.

Personality: Taveche takes after her mother in that she's strong, steady, and prefers physical activity to mental, but she is her complete opposite in many other ways. Rather than being solitary and quiet, Taveche is loud, sociable, funny, and likes to be surrounded by friends. She can often be found regaling others with stories--usually tall ones--or buying them rounds of drinks. There will be no bar brawling for this cat, though, as she's usually the one putting a paw down between people with quarrels. She can be forceful in her mediating, but only when necessary.
