You'll never see him kill to defend himself, though. If he can get away with doing nothing worse than knocking his opponent out, then that's all he'll do.

Personality: Living proof that things don't always go quite as planned even in the carefully monitored processes of Biosynthesis, even after a successful gestation, Hemlokt is as sweet as a terisae and seemingly half as intelligent. He is as thick as a stone and as slow as molasses in his mental capacities, but he is as lovable and cuddly as any teddy bear. Nothing makes him happier than to give or receive attention from someone he adores, but considering his mental state, he doesn't need much more than that, either. He cannot speak in true words, though he has a few mangled sounds that the attentive can interpret his needs from, and his telepathy conveys only imagery and emotions--when it works, that is, and that's always by accident. Dr. Schroeder is his favorite person in the whole world, followed closely by Dijzema--it calls him its brother, though Hemlokt is incapable of comprehending the true meaning of the word.

Personality: Perhaps it's trite and cliché to say "third time's the charm" but, well, that's just how it turned out this time around. Dokjyzlui is kind, gentle, and easygoing, but with plenty of the chutzpah it takes to be able to stand up to Keshnarmeynee all on her own. She's not reckless by any stretch, and certainly she knows there's nothing wrong with a little healthy fear towards someone much bigger and meaner than you, but that doesn't mean she's about to be pushed around just because Keshna's a grumpy sourpuss (her words). And once she's grown up, Dokjyzlui will be happy to give back to Gibelettes the looking-after the dragon has so selflessly given to others--Dokjyzlui has a streak in her that's not just motherly, it's matronly. Just call her "Auntie".

Personality: If Joseph doesn't get out of that habit of falling inert and collecting dust, he's going to find he has a very bored Biran on his hands. Pyhkoa can't stand to sit around and do nothing, unless there's an absolutely inescapable reason for it--you know, like if his foot is wedged in a rock crevasse and he has to wait for someone to come back with help to extricate him. He's hyperactive, certainly, yet not loud. Rather than jabber senselessly when he can't be off doing something, he'll fidget unceasingly, and while he knows how to entertain himself if he really has to, he's much happier when he has a friend or seven with him.

Personality: Hopefully Leletsaan'tau is the patient sort, or else she might find Wfepiu getting on her nerves now and then. Sweet little Wfepiu is certainly happy and eager enough to learn all about the care and maintenance of plants, but the thing is, she's impatient. She doesn't mean any harm, but nor does she understand why something can't be done now so she can skip that boring "waiting" part. There will probably be many instances of seeds planted too early, seedlings watered too much, and flowers picked while they're still just budding, before Leletsaan'tau will be able to impress upon her that some things just take time.

Personality: Zytchti is admittedly very clingy. He's so worried about making sure Nesalla knows he's never going to go anywhere that the dragontaur may find the Caetran to be smothering--if not now, then certainly when Zytchti is starting to grow up and should be leaving behind such childish displays. But then again, perhaps that's exactly what Nesalla needs in a friend and bond. He doesn't really have any leaderly tendencies or talents, but if being the leader is what it takes to hold Nesalla's attention, Zytchti will do his darnedest to fill the role.

Personality: Passive and indolent, nothing gets Viseomok's gall up mostly because she just doesn't care. She's not emotionally apathetic, but she believes in a world where people "live and let live", which in her translates to tolerance (though that doesn't always equate with acceptance). She's not the sort that preaches at anyone who's blatantly intolerant, though, since that would involve confronting someone, and Viseomok avoids confrontations like the plague. All in all she's a nice girl...just rather boring. And despite the things that go on between Tekasynos and Tayne, she'll never see Fluniarlii as anything more than a sister.
