Though he, himself, color-shifts, his face doesn't shift much from its usual serious expression. He is quiet and honorable, friendly in a dour sort of fashion, and both honest and sincere, but he is very serious and very methodical, even in social situations. Everything he does is carefully done, with all the proper steps taken, and it is widely known that he has no sense of humor. Right up until he makes a very subtle joke that no one can quite believe came from his mouth.

He'll always take Elano's and Daraeas's word above everything else, however, so there's no risk of him being talked into turning on his bond, or anything of the sort. And if he ever takes a mate, it will be a permanent binding—unless his chosen female decides she can't stand being hovered over. Saeva is just plain grumpy, for one thing, completely unable to be satisfied with anything, and has a charisma score in the negatives. For another, she has a mean streak a mile wide, and enough curiosity to want to see what happens when she acts on it. If Kaere is going to be brusque and pushy, and use her indomitable will to demand obedience, Saeva will do her best to defy her, even if it takes her whole life to figure out how to do so.
