Biosynth 01

"Hey, watch it!" "Ooof!" "It got crowded all of a sudden.." "Where is blazes did you teleport us too?"

As wide as the hallways of Star City were, they weren't quite wide enough for four dragonesses to appear, at once, side by side. After a minor scene of trying to get unstuck and holding up traffic, the four managed to disentangle themselves from each other. The catdragoness Frisky immediately started straightening her fur out.

"We don't have time for that!" hissed the glowing-winged dragoness, "We came here to find this Abstract Destiny place...."

"There is always time for grooming," Frisky said, putting one last errant patch in place before following the rest down the corridor.

It took some talking, but they finally managed to find out where Abstract Destiny was--in orbit around Star City.

"I think it would be a bit...dangerous...trying to teleport all of us up there," Ondanend says, frowning slightly, "Any mishap, and we're all lost in space."

"Well, there's got to be some way of getting there, right?" Talmatora, the glowy winged dragoness, says with a swish of her dual tails.

"Perhaps it's just for dragons with riders," Euphonious said.

"Right, I don't think that's the case," Frisky said, "We're just not talking to the right people yet...They hold flights here, I've noticed--perhaps whoever's in charge will know how to get us to that ship."

The dragonesses needn't have worried. Once they got to the right person, a meeting was set up on the station for them with Dr. Schroeder himself. The four were patiently waiting in one of the rather large offices of the Ministry of Flights and Hatchings, When a shortish man came through the door, followed by a wolfy-dragonlike anthropomorph.

"Dr. Schroeder?" Talmatora asked as she stepped forward.

"Indeed I am," Dr. Schroeder said cheerfully, clasping the bipedal dragoness's outstretched paw, "And I hear that you are interested in Biosynthing?"

"Actually, it's Dark that's interested in your Biosynthing process," Ondanend said, stepping a bit closer, "She was... intrigued by the..." she paused, as if trying to find the right word "...yautjadragon that came home with Chance."

"Thought he was absolutely adorable," Frisky interrupted, "Seems to have gotten some new life into Chance as well." The Doctor seemed thrilled with this news.

"Splendid, splendid!" he said, and the dragonesses nodded.

"Which is why she couldn't come with us, actually," Euphonious spoke up, "She's agreed to help with Chance's training, as well as Ontain's. She is very interested in this Biosynthing, considering she does similar stuff herself. Though hers is more on the lines with magic.."

"She asked for volunteers," Talmatora continued, "To go though this Biosynthing. We agreed, so here we are."

"She would like to be there for the hatching of the clutch, of course, and whatever information we can give her concerning the process. Out of curiosity's sake, of course. She's willing to pay you for your time..."

"Payment?" Dr. Schroeder raised an eyebrow slightly, "My dears, I don't accept payment for this process..."

"It's more of a payment for...satisfying her curiosity," Frisky says, "Or you can consider it a donation. She wishes to pay in samples...about a hundred DNA samples she'd like to include in your... Biopool."

"It wouldn't be until after our clutch has hatched, as she's making sure everyone that can donate a sample is willing to do so," Ondanend added, "And I for one would be thrilled to be part of an actual clutch."

"Do we have a deal?" Talmatora asked, awaiting the Doctor's answer.
