I haven't heard that there's anything Valentines-frenzy-y happening (if there is, I want to know!) and I was wondering if anyone would be interested? I have a few ideas...

As long as there's a decent amount of red and white and not so much pink or at least let the pink be avoidable I might be interested...

Well, Lantessama usually has a themed clutch about this time of year but they've refused so far to come along to this version of the Nexus and advertise. I have no idea if their last clutch even hatched. :/ Might jump over to their site. I hate missing out on those themed clutches. I have *no* time to do one myself though.

I always have temptations to do frenzies, but seeing how slowly all of the clutches at Starburst, and my Spring Fling, took to fill up, I always shy away from it.

But I would be interested. I would totally help, if I'm needed.

btw: pink is fun. never underestimate teh pink. (not to start any kind of argument. I just like pink dragons.)

I've always been fond of silver and gold along with the traditional pink, red, and white for Valentine's. It gives a classic, romantic feel. Red and purple as well as pink and purple are fun combinations too. *chuckles*

And no, I'm not a girly-girl... *shifty eyes* Then again, my favorite color scheme is the early spring/easter pastels... I'm a chick. *crestfallen*

I think it may have to do with the Knux fiasco. But I've tried getting Trix to advertise here, they never do.

Maybe we should just make some valentines flitters!

That way anyone could use em, and we'd still be doing a theme.

Or maybe something small, involving maybe a maximum of 12-20 or so dragons (3-5 male/herm, 3-5 female/herm, 3-5 pre-mated pairs)? I *really* need to work on my artwork, and I love drawing from pairs instead of my imagination...

I really want to do something, in any case, and babies wouldn't have to go out all at once--could be one pairing at a time, or as bonders/sponsors arrive...

Heh. Look everybody, watch Samber beg desperately for community approval... lol...

I can confirm Midori being one of the old schoolers. I'm pretty sure Wu Weyr was well-established when I was first writing candidates, and I like to consider myself a semi-oldbie too. I remember when Jerdan, Gallimim, and Mooncrest were adopting dragons out, darn it! ^_^

That, and given some of the dragons in her winglist, I think she even pre-dates our beloved geezer Shard. That's a /lot/ of Glass Island dragons.
