It's actually two songs in one (second is a "bonus track" attached to the last song on the cd), which is why the file's so big (it ripped as one long track, and I'm too lazy to go back and turn it into a .wav just to split it up....). Take your pick which song you'd like to draw from; I love them both!

Theme: Insects! Still working on my insect collection. I'd like to see a dragon/griffin/anything that has an insect theme. Pick any bug or buglike critter (spider, scorpion, etc) and turn it into a dragon/griffin/etc. You can make it physically as insecty or non-insecty as you like! Could be anything from a dragon/griffin/etc with the insect's colour pattern, to a creature that's so heavily based on its insect theme that it's barely recognizable as its base species!

Theme: I'm assembling a 'pantheon' for Xidaver. Creatures with strong magic and possibly even stronger egos. Take roman gods for example, though you don't have to base a dragon or critter on one of those gods. Currently I have a god of , death, illusion, wind, order,life and both a fire/ice and earth sprite. If you don't want to do a major force or element, a lesser power is fine too(Sprites/Nymph type creatures).

Lakota!!!

First off, I'm really sorry that I didn't get this in by the deadline. I had a horrid time thinking up a geek nerd dragon, since those two words are two totally separate concepts in my brain...

Anyway, here he is finally. I hope you think he was worth the wait.

Name: Dexter, Dex for short
Nickname: Yorick
Gender: Male
Type: Bipedal. 7' tall (floor to the top of his head), 15' from nose to tail tip, 12' wingspan.

His wingsails are translucent, as you probably can see. ^_^

Dexter is a brilliant dragon, reading everything he can get his talons on for the sure joy of the knowledge. Yes, even telephone directories. He is skilled with all manner of things, especially computers and will cheerfully expound on any topic for hours on end. His eidetic memory is a benefit -- for once he has ingested a book, he's an all but certified expert on it. Ask him anything.

He particularly enjoyed Shakespeare -- and has dubbed himself Yorick. He'll suprise you by switching from trying to persuade you to believe in the space station/colony on Ryslen's moon (there is one... I just haven't written anything about it...) to attempting to speak forsoothly.

Alas poor Yorick... he's not likely to ever have a mate, unless some female decides to catch -him-.

Dexter is a bit awkward in his movements - a perpetual gangly adolescent. He often gets tangled up in his adored cape. (Cape + wings + trouble.) And to top it all off, he's left handed.

So if you're up for some Dungeons and Dragons or need help with your computer or calculus homework, Dex is your man... err dragon.

That's so great :3 Sorry to give you such a weird concept XD You did a perfect job with it, though! And that cape... I'll have to admit to wearing one sometimes, recently my City of Villains Arachnos cape I got for playtesting the CoHCCG. And OMG, and he has dice!! I love dice so much :3 I have a collection of over 250, most of them 10-siders XD

And here we have an Alli-dragon!

I didn't like this image when I sketched it, but it looked a lot nicer after I inked it, and I'm pretty pleased with it now.

She (she looks female to me) doesn't have so much as a horse-y tail as just a mane that runs all the way to the end of her dragon-y tail. It was accidental, but it seemed to work.

And, yes, those are little hooves on her wings.

Feel free to go with whatever stats work best for you in terms of name, gender, size, abilities, personality and so on.

Because you're my usual gif-izer, you get to turn him into a gif yourself XD Hope you don't mind!

The base image was a spider (a yellow sac spider, to be precise), but then I got all fancy with the carapace (or however you spell the dang thing-- it's some ungodly hour of the morning and you expect me to spell right? XD ), and it turned into thie beetle-spider-hybrid-thing. Or, if you like, you can say all that is just armor of the removable kind. It matters not to me! Abilities include jumping, spinning silk thread of varying thickness and strength, poison bite (yellow sac spiders're pretty dangerous, man >.> ), and incredible vision (why, yes, he does have eigth eyes!).

Sure hope you like. Doing the research for an appropriate spider-color (that wasn't black and red, cuz that's totally overdone XD ) made me feel all buggy :: laughs ::

For some reason, I keep thinking he's some kind of jester... but that might just be the coloration ^^
