As far as species, etc. Kat allowed me to make them into Daemons (just like the noodle-daemons and feathery daemons that she's been giving out), so they have the same abilities (Psionics (telepathy, telekinesis (very strong) and teleportation), Magic Suction, and the ability to slightly modify the appearance or structure of their own offspring, or other unborn offspring that have a noticeable amount of daemonic blood in them. These guys prefer to be in the water, but their strong psionic abilities in telekinesis allow them to carry themselves over land (and just about /only/ them, since that's where all of that power goes to) quite easily. Species-wide notes: they function socially strongly by pheremones, especially underwater. Those nose-holes function to breath air on land, but underwater a little flap comes into play that allows water to stream past sensors and out through their gills (behind their jaw-line, hidden by frills!)... um... *thinks* they're also pretty sexually casual, meaning that they enjoy having a good round of sex like most people would enjoy a good video-game or round of table-tennis. XDD There are exceptions, of course, and these two might be /slightly/ more monogomous then your average daemon... but that's all I can think of right now!
